April Lockhart

April Lockhart (born July 4 in 1995) began her musical journey in the 7th grade in which she began piano and guitar classes. At the age of 12, she composed her first single called Different. When she was 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing lyrics and perfecting her music abilities. Soon after she began taking trips to write with father, who lived in NY as well as LA. April featured other topics in her hit song"Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt issues like peer pressure, issues or even teenage suicide ideas. Lockhart has her own following and works as an online lifestyle blogger for the renowned Ilia Clean Beauty brand. She was born without her left hand, and it's part of her story, but that's not the entire story. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't focus solely on it. What message is it sending? The message? We are all multifaceted, and that our physical and identity self aren't as they seem.
