Anne Phung Nguyen

My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my wonderful fianc JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. People know me best through my Instagram account @annephung. This is where I share my story-the highs, the lows, and everything in between. My parents brought my family to America in the year 1990 when I was just a year old. It wouldn't be possible to share my story to you now without my parents' efforts to work hard and make sacrifices. Knowing I had an opportunity at a better future I strived to impress them and had tunnel vision for the success. I thought my life would go one way or another: I'd graduate from university, be offered a corporate position, get married and start with a family. My goal was to go to college, graduate and get an executive job. After that, I'd marry to buy a home and start a family. Life had other ideas. The money and the status of my position didn't make me feel happy. I was convinced that I wasted my life for an income. I had a passion for fitness and having fun and helping people while I walked my new career path. I was drawn to personal training. My small business was started in 2014 and I'm celebrating seven years of growth this year, 2021. It's not common to see an Asian female in the business. My mission in this field is to build a more healthy and sustainable life style that is in line with the desires of my clients. Furthermore, I try to inspire others to pursue the goals they have set for themselves so that they can achieve what they wish to do. As my career was taking off, I was struck by one of the biggest losses in my lifethat of losing my Mom. Following an 8-year battle with Scleroderma, she is currently resting at Heaven. I will never forget her and always keep her in my thoughts as well as my heart. If you don't realize it at first, life has a funny way of offering us the things we need. The unexpected death that shaped me for good. And I really believe it gave me an opportunity at living a full and fulfilling life. On Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. Now it was time for her to move on into her new chapter, and my chance to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. When I reach my 30's, I feel more vibrant than I have ever. I am able to say that I am living my life now, instead of merely living like I was in the past. My story is made available to you so that I can be able to share my stories as well as my words. It will allow you to realize that you're not on your own. It is possible to achieving anything you want in your life. Therapy is necessary and normal. The health of a person is the most important riches. There is only one chance to live. I hope you be the best version of yourself.
